TC Hafford Basement Systems assisted the American Red Cross in organizing another successful blood drive in loving memory of Courtney J. DeWitt, a local teen that passed away suddenly in December of 2007. This year was the 4th Annual Blood Drive in memory of Courtney and the drive received a positive response from the Wells community and beyond. On behalf of the DeWitt family and TC Hafford Basement Systems, thank you for pint donations as well as the generous food donations from Congdon's and Alfredo's.

Wells, MD – TC Hafford Basement Systems was recently honored at a meeting of over 600 guests from all over the United States and Canada at this year’s Team Basement Systems Convention. The annual convention is held each year between Seymour, Connecticut, (where the Basement Systems headquarters is located) and Hartford, Connecticut, and brings together dealerships of the international network for classes, seminars, training, parties and networking.

This year TC Hafford Basement Systems received two awards at the Team Basement Systems International Convention. TC Hafford Basement Systems ranked in the top 10 for Basement Systems Dealers in the United States and Canada. They also ranked as one of the Top 25 CleanSpace Dealers.

The convention featured guest speakers Krish Duhnam (of the Zig Ziglar corporation), and the “Pit bull of Personal Development” Larry Winget. A sports-themed party at the Connecticut Convention Center ended the convention week with music, food and performances by the Harlem Wizards and the New England Patriots Cheerleaders.

Wet Crawl Spaces in Maine Duplex Get Restored By TC Hafford Basement Systems

Gray, ME - Two severely damp crawl spaces in a duplex located in Gray, Maine have been completely restored and waterproofed by local crawl space and basement expert, T.C. Hafford.

The duplex's homeowner has noticed serious wetness in the spaces ever since purchasing the property two years ago. From water dripping down the walls, rotting floor joists, and ringing out fallen pieces of insulation--it was time that these crawl spaces were fixed.

Local Blood Drive Being Held In Loving Memory of Courtney DeWitt

Friday October 8th marks the third annual blood drive that has been organized in memory of Courtney DeWitt, a beloved local teenager who passed away in 2007. Her memory is still alive through her legacy and these events that help others to her honor. The blood drive is being held from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Wells Activity Center at 113 Sanford Rd., Wells, ME.

Courtney had been an engaging young lady who so beautifully balanced creativity through a promising interest in photography and athleticism through her enjoyment of sports-- especially basketball. Even at such a young age, she understood the importance of giving to others. She was quick to volunteer her time in the residential community at the Pavilion in Sanford.

To Courtney, life had been an adventure -- something her parents had instilled in her at a young age through taking trips to the Millinocket area, camping, playing sports, and watching the NASCAR races. She had loved to watch Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kasey Kahne the most!

Her energy had been contagious as she spent much of her time with her loving family and friends. She is sincerely missed by her adoring parents, Joleen and Corey DeWitt; her beautiful sister, Michaela; devoted grandparents; and her many, many friends and other family members.
