We began by digging up the interior perimeter of the basement floor. This gave us a trench to lay down our WaterGuard pipe system. These pipes are then covered over with loose rocks and cement to home it in place. It will then capture water as it tries to enter the basement through the walls or floor. Next, we installed a SuperSump sump pump. This will take the water collected in the WaterGuard pipes and force it up and out of the basement through a PVC discharge line. Once outside the house, we attached an IceGuard section to the discharge line. This will allow water to continue to flow should the lower end of the discharge line become blocked by ice or other debris.
