Charleston, ME Basement Kept Dry with SaniDry Installation.

When this homeowner in Charleston, ME began to notice a musty smell in their basement, they were unsure at first about what was causing the problem or how to remedy it. But after a google search and a free estimate from us at TC Hafford Basement Systems, they knew exactly what the problem was and what their options were for fixing it. They decided to have our crew solve the problem for them and hired us right away to get the job done!

Once our installation crew arrived at the home, they got to work clearing away the accumulating moisture in the air of the basement that had been causing the issue. While the homeowners’ sump drain was removing any water from the floor, moisture building up in the air was still a problem. A SaniDry XP dehumidifier was installed on the floor of the basement to handle the airborne moisture. The damp air surrounding the SaniDry will now be pulled in and separated from the moisture. The dried air is then circulated back into the basement while the collected water travels through a pipe to a Condensate Pump nearby which removes the water from the home.

Now that the atmosphere in this basement has been dried, this homeowners’ problem should soon be a thing of the past. The SaniDry XP dehumidifier will keep the air in this basement dry and healthy for years to come!
