Customer in Eustis has been the caretaker for their mom's home. The basement had a sand floor and cinder block foundation walls, which allowed for water to get in and caused constant dampness. The homeowner already had a sump pump in place, but they were interested in finding out options for a slab floor or other drainage. They contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help and we got the job done!
Our System Design Specialist implemented a plan to pour a slab with Slab WaterGuard, and the old sump was no longer doing the job, so it was removed and replaced with a brand new SuperSump Plus system. The SuperSump Plus pumps the water through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that takes it far from the home. The Discharge line is protected against ice buildup during the winter months with the installation of IceGuard. Water was leaking in around the perimeter of the basement, so slab WaterGuard was installed to catch the water and channel it to the SuperSump. Now that the basement is waterproofed, the homeowner can relax and enjoy their property.
