I own a Victorian era home in Hallowell and, in spite of my efforts to get it fixed, the basement on my tenant's side of the duplex keeps leaking and has molded the sheet rock.
Vicinity of Union Street in Hallowell
We are purchasing this house this month. It is a 1906 house with a dirt floor small basement area and crawl space under the larger part of the house. It has moisture problems and has dry rot in the sill on one side and many of the joists. We are interested in estimates on the repairs, and also solutions for the ventilation/ moisture problem.

Vicinity of Winthrop in Hallowell
Own a circa 1801 post and beam colonial with a walkout partially finished basement. It has been off of level for many years, but seems to be worsening--i.e. doors sticking, etc. Also basement is wet after heavy rains/spring. Interested in foundation stabilization if needed and basement waterproofing estimates.
Vicinity of Oakwood Dr in Hallowell
Some water coming in when heavy rains. Also concerned about possible mold.
Vicinity of Second Street in Hallowell
Our basement floods a couple of times a year when we get prolonged heavy rain. We currently have a small pump that needs to be turned on and off. We a looking to install a permanent pump that will do that automatically.
Vicinity of Second Street in Hallowell
My basement runs the entire length and width of my Cape style house. Approximately half of it has a concrete floor; the balance is dirt. It contains the furnace, fuel tank and laundry and storage areas. In the 20 years I've lived here, I've periodically gotten moisture seeping in from the southwest corner of the house, but in the last two years I've begun to get a significant amount of mud infiltrating through the bulkhead door on the east side of the basement.
Vicinity of Central Street in Hallowell
1830 house, cement cellar floor, no sump, no drain. Floods with 4-6" of water a couple of times a year
Vicinity of Water Street in Hallowell
Water leaks in cracks and up thru concrete floor.
