The crawlspace received a Drainage Matting around the inside perimeter. This will prevent any moisture from leaking outward into the center of the crawlspace. Next, we encapsulated the crawlspace with a CleanSpace Liner which acts as a barrier and locks out any moisture that would otherwise find its way into the crawlspace. Finally, we installed a SaniDry CX dehumidifier. This will maintain a dry atmosphere within the crawlspace should moisture find its way in. Now this homeowner will have a dry crawlspace no matter the weather!

We just closed on our house today, the previous owners were having problems in the winter with the water heater in the crawl space. They used a mini space heater, but I'm hoping this is something some professional insulation installation can fix? It's a crawl space, I don't believe it has a cement floor, I'm not sure if it floods in the summer, but I wouldn't doubt it.
