Leaking Basement In Lovell, ME Waterproofed With WaterGuard

Kevin from Lovell was having trouble with water gathering in his basement. The water was coming in through the floor and walls and he needed professional help to prevent this from recurring in the future. Kevin got online to find a solution, soon coming across TC Hafford Basement Systems. We got the call and had a representative inspect the basement, giving the homeowner a free estimate on the cost of solutions. Kevin gave us the go ahead and we had our crew start working.

We started by excavating the inside perimeter of the basement, this gave us room to lay down our WaterGaurd pipe system. This system is then buried under cement to conceal it beneath the floor. The WaterGaurd will capture water as it enters the basement through the walls or floor and guide it to the sump in the basement. Next, we installed a SuperSump sump pump. This pump will take the water gathered by the WaterGuard and push it up and out of the basement through a PVC discharge line. On the exterior of the home, we attached a unique piece of pipe onto the discharge line called an IceGuard. This piece will allow water to continue to flow from the basement even if ice or other debris blocks the line. Now Kevin has a dry basement thanks to WaterGuard!
