The Board of Selectmen for the Mattawamkeag Municipal Building reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their failing foundation. The walls were eroding, showing cracks, crumbling, and even gaping holes. We installed StableLock Wall system to prevent any further shifting of the failing wall. To achieve this, our crew began in the crawlspace by filling in gaps between the rim-joists with a Spray Foam insulator. Next, Spray Foam was used to cover the interior walls of the crawlspace. This foam expands soon after it covers each surface, filling in more space and reaching inside small cracks. The foam forms a barrier against possible passages for air, or ways for the outside temperature to affect inside of this home.
