A North Hampton, NH homeowner reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their leaky basement issues. They said their tiny basement for their tiny home was having BIG water issues. System Design Specialist Rick R. met with the homeowner to evaluate their specific needs.
Water was leaking in around the perimeter of the basement, so WaterGuard was installed to catch the water and channel it to a SuperSump Plus system. The SuperSump Plus pumps the water through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that takes it far from the home. The Discharge line is protected against ice buildup during the winter months with the installation of IceGuard. To take care of any humidity in the basement, a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier is set up with an additional line attached to the SuperSump so the homeowner no longer has to go into the basement to empty their old dehumidifier. Now their space is dry and fully functional for much needed added square footage.
Our North Hampton, NH homeowner was tired of their freezing cold crawlspace affecting their home temperature and heating bills, and also had leaking in their separate basement area. They reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems for help remedying their 1800's home. System Design Specialist Mike P. met with the homeowner to find the best solution to seal their crawlspace and keep their basement dry.
To fully encapsulate the crawl space and keep moisture and critters out, CleanSpace with Drainage Matting was installed. Drainage Matting is a durable barrier with dimples to help channel water and elevate the CleanSpace, keeping it clean. CleanSpace is a durable, inorganic vapor barrier that gets attached to the walls and seals up the crawl space, keeping moisture out. SprayFoam was installed on the rim joists and walls to insulate the area, keeping cold air out during the winter, making the space more comfortable, and saving the homeowner money on their energy bill.
A SuperSump Plus system with WaterGuard was installed to capture water and pump it through the new Exterior Buried Discharge line. The Discharge line takes the water far from the home and with the installation of IceGuard, the entire system is protected against ice buildup in the winter. Finishing out the full waterproofing system was the installation of a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to protect the space from future moisture. Now the homeowner is enjoying a warmer home, cheaper energy bills, and more dry, usable space!
Homeowners from North Hampton, NH reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their damaged finished basement. Water had come into the space causing damage to the floors and walls. Our System Design Specialist Mike P. came up with a plan to give the homeowners peace of mind moving forward.
We installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement, and connected to a new TripleSafe Sump Pump. WaterGuard captures and channels water to the TripleSafe, which features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup. The TripleSafe also has an UltraSump Battery Back-Up. The inclusion of the UltraSump Battery Back-Up is important to keep water out of the basement even during power outages, which tend to be very common in New England during big storms. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against ice buildup with IceGuard.
Our homeowners now have a dry, usable space that they no longer have to worry about being ruined from water again!
This homeowner contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems because he had been experiencing several issues in his basement. The space had a dirt floor and with groudwater, high moisture, and sagging beam problems. We solved the groundwater issue by waterproofing the space with our interior WaterGuard drainage system, SuperSump pumping system, and poured a new floor. The high humidity levels were addressed by instally our SaniDry dehumidifier. Our galvanized steel SmartJacks were installed to stabilize the sagging beams. One area of the space was treated by installing our CleanSpace Encapsulation System.
