Nottingham, NH homeowners reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems after their current sump pump failed multiple times, causing flooding in their finished basement. Our System Design Specialist Mike P. met with the homeowners to assess their needs and come up with a plan to keep their space dry and usable. 

 

The old sump pump the homeowners had was slightly effective, however it only partially addressed their needs in keeping the whole space dry. We installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement and connected it to a brand new TripleSafe Sump Pump. WaterGuard captures and channels water to the TripleSafe, which features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against winter ice buildup with IceGuard. In addition to the WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump, we also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona drains directly to the TripleSafe, which allows the basement to be kept at a safe humidity level all of the time without the homeowner having to empty a bucket of water to keep it running. Our homeowners can now enjoy peace of mind from knowing their basement is fully protected against any water issues!

Water seeping in on one end of the basement at times of real heavy rain. Cracks in floor, some water weeps up through but does not flood. Very low water table to make natural drainage work ( my opinion) One issue is where water seeps in there is a finished wall. see pics.
