Damp Crawlspace In Seal Harbor, ME Kept Dry With CleanSpace

A new homeowner in Seal Harbor was noticing their crawlspace was damp in certain areas and they were looking to get this addressed. Asking around for a solution, a satisfied previous customer told the homeowner about TC Hafford Basement Systems, and how we could help with their issue. They called us soon after and got their free estimate. They decided to get work done and we sent a crew to their home to start the job!

We began by installing a SmartDrain in the crawlspace to allow for water to escape through the floor. We then laid down a Drainage Matting around the interior perimeter of the crawlspace to hold back water trying to make its way in and guide it towards the drain. Next, we encapsulated the crawlspace with a CleanSpace Liner. This liner covers the entire crawlspace except for the ceiling, completely locking out moisture, and if any makes its way in, it will be directed to the drain in the floor. Finally, we installed a SaniDry CX dehumidifier. This will guarantee the air remains dry, should any moisture gather in the air in the crawlspace. Now this homeowner has a dry crawlspace, and it will stay that way for years to come!
