Once our installation crew arrived, they got started by clearing the two cracks of debris by brushing them with a coarse brush. This prepares them for the adhesive sealant that was then applied within both cracks. Next, foam mats were placed over both cracks and sealed in place by a secondary layer of sealant. These new structures covering both cracks are FlexiSpan seals, which will keep any future leaks from entering the basement through the previously problematic cracks. This system will capture water as it tries to enter the basement through the walls, guiding the water to the sump within the basement. We then installed a SuperSump sump pump in the sump, to enable system to remove the water from the basement through a PVC discharge line. Finally, on the outside of the home, we attached an IceGuard filter to the discharge line to allow water to continue to be pumped out of the basement; Even when the line is blocked by debris.

With these products in place, this homeowner will no longer have any issues with water flooding their basement!
