Homeowners in York Beach, Maine live in an area with a high water table, and often experienced basement flooding. After providing a free estimate, System Design Specialist John W. helped the homeowners get setup for a basement waterproofing installation. We installed WaterGuard perimeter drainage system, which captures groundwater seeping in and channels it directly to the new TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe is the top of the line sump system, with two Zoeller pumps and a third battery backup pump system. The battery backup pump keeps operating even if the home loses power during a storm.
Homeowners in York Beach, Maine were exploring options for a dehumidifier to help their musty crawl space. Moisture in a crawl space can cause mildew, mold, and wood rot, which often lead to odors and potentially major problems. To ensure the crawl space would stay dry, we encapsulated it with drainage matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier. Spray Foam insulation was installed along the rim joists, keeping cold air out.
