Basement Waterproofing & Crawl Space Repair

If water and moisture get into your basement or crawl space, you can quickly develop numerous issues such as mold growth, musty smells, and rot. Most contractors believe that in order to cure these issues, you need to seal your home's outside foundation wall. This means digging up all around your house, destroying gardens and risking ruptured pipes, not to mention is is also very expensive and not a permanent solution. We avoid these potential issues by installing our interior drainage system, which is more successful at preventing water compared to sealing the outside of your foundation.

We Provide: You Receive:
  • Permanently Dry Basement or Crawl Space
  • Warrantied Solutions
  • Greater Home Value
  • Peace of Mind

Our system catches any entering water then transports it to a sump pump where it is safely pumped away from your home. We also install an  energy efficient dehumidifier in your basement or crawl space to prevent future mold growth and moisture.

Our basement waterproofing and crawl space encapsulation systems are built only with our exclusive, patented products. We provide written warranties on all basement and crawl space systems.

Foundation Repair & PolyLEVEL Concrete Leveling

If you are experiencing foundation or concrete issues, our team of trusted structural & geotechnical engineers can provide you with a free inspection and explain the solution. Our foundation repair products come with a written warranty and are designed to avoid damaging gardens, steps, porches, etc. during installation.

Foundation Solutions for:
  • Bowing Walls
  • Uneven Floors
  • Wall Cracks
  • Settling Foundation
Concrete Solutions for:

For raising sinking concrete slabs most contractors prefer traditional mudjacking. Mudjacking is a concrete lifting method consisting of pumping a heavy mud/concrete slurry beneath the concrete through large holes drilled through the slab.

Our highly skilled concrete repair experts prefer to use PolyLEVEL, which is a light polyurethane foam designed specifically to lift concrete. The foam is injected through much smaller holes and it expands quickly, filling gaps and lifting the concrete to a level position. Contact us today for a free foundation or concrete repair inspection.

Job Stories From Rockland, ME
Constantly Wet Crawlspace In Rockland, ME Kept Dry With CleanSpace

A homeowner in Rockland was looking for a way to clear his crawlspace of water. It would almost always have water gathered in two of the corners. Especially during spring. Fearing the water would damage the structure of the house, the homeowner searched for a solution. He soon came across TC Hafford Basement Systems online and called us to receive his free estimate. We had a representative at the home in now time for the inspection. After the homeowner chose what work they wanted done we were able to start working!

We began by digging out a sump, and installing a SmartSump sump pump. This will take any water gathered in the crawlspace and evacuate it through a PVC discharge line. We then lined the interior wall/floor joint with a Drainage Matting. This mat will hold back water coming in through this joint, allowing it time to drain away before making its way to the interior of the crawlspace. Next, we encapsulated the crawlspace with a CleanSpace Liner. This locks out any moisture trying to enter through the walls or floor of the crawlspace. Forcing it all to either drain back away naturally or through the sump. Finally, we installed a SaniDry CX dehumidifier. This dehumidifier will take the leftover moisture, and any future moisture out of the air, creating and maintaining a dry and healthy atmosphere.

With these systems in place, the interior of this homeowner’s crawlspace will remain dry for many years to come. He no longer has to fear water damage!

During a storm this winter, I noticed water coming into my basement through a small crack in the foundation. Now every time we have rain, it happens a lot. The crack is not far from where my sump pump discharges outside of my house. I would like to know my options to repair the crack and to move my sump pump discharge farther from my house.

I am in contract to buy 86 Cedar. Built in 1892, it has a dirt basement. There are some missing foundation supports & the vapor barrier (heavy plastic) is not well-installed. The second floor uneven floors, that I assume would become more even if the foundation supports were solid. I would like to get an estimate for work to add foundation supports & take care of vapor barrier. Can you do an estimate? Thank you!
