Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in South Harpswell, Maine

Homeowners in South Harpswell, Maine wanted to encapsulate their damp crawl space to keep their home protected. System Design Specialist Thomas met with the homeowners to measure and evaluate the crawl space, providing them with a free estimate for the needed repairs. We installed our two-step encapsulation system, first a layer of drainage matting and then our CleanSpace vapor barrier on top. Spray Foam insulation was also installed on the walls and rim joists, offering multiple benefits. Spray Foam insulation immediately improves the energy efficiency of the whole home by sealing out cold air. Spray Foam insulation is also water and mold resistant, so it is a durable option for below grade spaces.
