200 Year Old Home Has Sagging Floors in Paris, ME

Challenge

Homeowners in Paris, ME have a 200 year old home with sagging floors and a failing crawl space. They wanted to properly support their floors and waterproof the area.

Solution

We encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace, an inorganic vapor barrier. CleanSpace prevents mold growth and seals out moisture. A SmartSump pump was installed to pump any water away from the home. A SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system was added to control the humidity in the space, as well as filter the air for things like dust and mold spores. To support the sagging floors we installed SmartJacks, galvanized steel posts that immediately lift and level the flooring above.
