Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Spruced Up Crawlspace in Southport, ME

System Design Specialist Kathryn D. from TC Hafford Basement Systems met with Southport, ME homeowners to help with their dingy and damp crawlspace. First we had to remove debris, and regrade the space to prep it for installation. CleanSpace with drainage matting was installed to encapsulate the entire crawlspace. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier that seals moisture out and prevents the growth of mold and mildew. Drainage Matting is a durable barrier with dimples to help channel water and elevate the CleanSpace, keeping it clean. Lastly, SprayFoam insulation was installed on the rim joists to offer an air and moisture seal, as well as better insulate the area which lowers energy bills for the homeowners.
