Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Peaks Island, ME Crawl Space Needs New Encapsulation

A Peaks Island, ME homeowner contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their failing crawl space. They had another company previously encapsulate the area, and were unhappy with the results. We came in with our two-step encapsulation process using CleanSpace liner and a layer of drainage matting. The CleanSpace and drainage matting work together to channel water underneath the liner directly to the SmartSump pump while keeping the crawl space free of moisture. The SmartSump pump removes water away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line. We completed sealing the space with SprayFoam insulation to keep an air tight seal and imrpove the energy efficiency of the home. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system was installed to control the humidity and filter the air.
