Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Home Sale Threatened by Mold Discovery in Vienna, ME

Homebuyers were under contract in Vienna, ME when an inspection report found mold. The sellers had the mold remediation work completed, and reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems for help waterproofing their crawl space to prevent future mold issues from happening again. We encapsulated the crawl space with our two-step system, including drainage matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier liner. We also added a SmartSump pump system, and a SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system. The SaniDry Sedona controls humidity in the crawl space, and also has a MERV 8 filter to address mold spores. The CleanSpace liner is an inorganic material that prevents the growth of mold as well. The buyers can confidently move forward with their purchase knowing mold will not be an issue again.
