Bucksport, Maine Foundation Saved with StableLock
Challenge
Homeowners in Bucksport, Maine knew they had a foundation that was failing. The failing wall was shifting and caving in. The homeowners were assessing if it was worth repairing the wall, or if they needed to completely rebuild the foundation.
Solution
The homeowners contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for a free estimate. After assessing the failing foundation wall, we recommended installing StableLock Wall. StableLock is a poured concrete wall that is installed abutting the failing wall to prevent any further shifting. StableLock is less costly and intrusive than traditional repairs, which can involve lifting the home and potentially extensive excavation. We were able to stabilize the foundation without the owner having to fully rebuild.
