Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Wet Basement in Livermore Falls, Maine

Homeowners in Livermore Falls, Maine had recently purchased their home when they quickly realized it was constantly very damp, and had increased water when it rained. System Design Specialist Michael M. provided a free estimate with recommendations for waterproofing their space.    We poured a new concrete floor to prevent water seeping up from the ground. The concrete floor is protected by WaterGuard perimeter drainage system, which captures groundwater and directs it to the new TripleSafe sump pump. The old rock walls used to let water into the basement but now have CleanSpace Wall System installed as a vapor barrier to seal moisture out. Spray Foam insulation was added on the walls and rim joists to improve the energy efficiency of the home. Spray Foam is also mold and water resistant, so it is a great option for insulation in basements. A SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system was also installed to control the humidity, keeping the basement dry. Some of the original lally columns were rusting and not supporting the home properly, so we added SmartJacks support beams. Each SmartJack can handle 60,000 lbs of weight, providing ample support to the home to keep it stabilized.
