Homeowners in Brooks, Maine had a wet basement that led to a mold problem. After having the mold remediated they wanted to waterproof the space to ensure they would never have to go through that again. Since the basement had dirt floors water could easily seep into the space, so we poured new concrete flooring with WaterGuard interior perimeter drainage. A new TripleSafe sump pump now removes the groundwater, pumping it away from the home. CleanSpace Wall system was installed on the old fieldstone foundation walls to seal out water, keeping the basement dry and reducing the chances for mold growth. A SaniDry Sedona air system was also installed to control the humidity, but most importantly has a MERV 8 filter to remove allergens like mold spores.
