Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing Project in Nobleboro, Maine

System Design Specialist Kathryn met with homeowners in Nobleboro, Maine to provide a free estimate to waterproof their basement. They indicated the foundation was very old, and that water was easily coming into the basement. Over time, moisture in a space can cause big problems, such as mold or wood rot. To prevent water leaking in from the old stone walls, we installed CleanSpace Wall system, a vapor barrier that covers the walls, directing water behind the liner down to their new WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard connects to the TripleSafe sump pump, bringing water to the pump to be removed from the home. Spray Foam insulation was also applied to the walls and rim joists, improving the energy efficiency of the home and also acting as an added vapor barrier. We also poured new concrete floors, preventing water from seeping in from the ground.
