Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Rumford, ME Wet Basement Upgrade

Rumford, ME homeowners contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their wet basement with dirt floors. They were tired of dealing with a muddy mess every time water came into the basement. System Design Specialist Sam C. created a plan to solve their water woes.   First we poured a new concrete slab floor to cover the dirt flooring. WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement to channel water to the new TripleSafe Sump Pump system. The TripleSafe features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against ice buildup in the winter with IceGuard. CleanSpace Wall System was installed to act as a vapor barrier where needed and channel any additional moisture from the walls to the WaterGuard. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to control the moisture in the space. SprayFoam insulation was added to the rim joists to create an air tight seal and protect against moisture.
