Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Failing Falmouth Basement Gets Fixed!

Falmouth, ME homeowners contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their wet basement. The walls always had moisture and mold was beginning to grow. The homeowners wanted more information on adding a vapor barrier and any other solutions that would be best to keep their basement dry. System Design Specialist Michael P. worked with the homeowners to create a plan that would keep the whole basement dry and safe for them to use.   WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement and connected to a new TripleSafe Sump Pump. WaterGuard captures and channels water to the TripleSafe, which features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup to protect against power loss. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge Line. We also install IceGuard to protect the Exterior Buried Discharge Line from freezing and backing up in the winter. To brighten up the interior of the basement and provide a waterproof layer covering the cold concrete walls, BrightWall panels were installed around the entire basement. BrightWall is also mold and rot resistant, easy to clean, and never discolors. Finishing out the full waterproofing system was the installation of a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
