Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Original Sump Pump Failed & Flooded Basement in Belfast, ME

Belfast, ME homeowner contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their flooded basement. They already had an old sump pump that failed and left them with a damp disaster after the flooding. System Design Specialist Alan N. met with the homeowner to give a free estimate on repairing the space and preventing it from happening again.   We installed slab WaterGuard along the perimeter of the basement to channel water to the new TripleSafe Sump Pump system. The TripleSafe features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup to protect against power loss. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against ice buildup with IceGuard. The flooding had damaged the finished walls in the basement so we installed EverLast Wall Restoration. EverLast Wall panels are waterproof and do not support mold or mildew growth. They are stronger than drywall so they are not dented or damaged as easily, and they are installed with an aesthetically pleasing chair rail and base molding.
