Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Rain Causes Leaks in Camden Basement & Crawlspace

Camden, ME homeowner has a property with both a basement and a crawlspace. The owner was dealing with water issues in both spaces every time it rained. System Design Specialist Jordan T. created a plan to address each space so they would be waterproof.   For the crawlspace we installed CleanSpace with Drainage Matting. Drainage Matting is a durable barrier with dimples to help channel water and elevate the CleanSpace, keeping it clean. CleanSpace is a durable, inorganic vapor barrier that gets attached to the walls and seals up the crawl space, keeping moisture out. We also added SprayFoam insulation on the walls and rim joists to ensure the space was air tight and moisture free.   In the basement we added a TripleSafe Sump Pump system. WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement and channels water to the TripleSafe, which features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against ice buildup with IceGuard. Finishing the waterproofing was the installation of a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.   The homeowner can use both spaces now, and no longer has to stress over every rain storm.
