Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Buyer Finds Water Intrusion in Falmouth, ME

The purchase of a new home was at risk when the buyers discovered the basement had water intrusion issues. The potential new homeowners wanted to be sure the basement was properly waterproofed to protect their investment. We first installed WaterGaurd, a perimeter drainage system around the basement that connects directly to the new TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe pumps water away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line, which is protected with IceGuard so it doesn't freeze and back up in the winter. CleanSpace Wall System was installed around the basement on the walls, acting as a vapor barrier to keep moisture out and prevent mold growth. SprayFoam was installed on the rim joists to keep an air tight seal and help with energy efficiency. Lastly, we added a SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system to control the humidity and filter the air.
