Portland, ME homeowners wanted information on a dehumidifier and options to waterproof their basement. They contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help! We poured a new slab floor to prevent water seeping up through the floor. We added WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system that collects water and directs it to the new TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump removes water away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line. CleanSpace Wall system was installed around the basement walls as a vapor barrier, sealing out moisture and giving the basement a fresh, clean look. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system was added to control the humidity in the space.
