Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing in Parsonsfield, ME Basement

Homeowners in Parsonsfield, ME were wanting to prep their wet basement for future renovations. They reached out to TC Hafford Basement System for help waterproofing the space so they could safely invest in finishing it. We first installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system around the entire basement. We also added BrightWall panels around the basement, giving the walls a clean and finished look. BrightWall is durable, easy to clean, and never discolors. A TripleSafe sump pump system was installed, connecting to the WaterGuard, so water is channeled directly to the pump to be removed from the home. The TripleSafe has two Zoeller pumps as well as a battery back up pump to protect against power loss. Water is pumped through an exterior buried discharge line, which is protected by IceGuard from freezing up in the winter. Lastly, SprayFoam insulation was installed on the rim joists to create an air tight seal and offer energy improvements for the space. The homeowners can now safely finish their basement without worry that their investment will be damaged by water.
