Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Worried About Mold in Winterport, ME
Winterport, ME homeowners have a house built in the 1850's, with an old stone foundation. They noticed water coming into the basement in multiple spots, in spite of already having a sump pump. They had tried patching areas of the floor previously, and were concerned the space would become moldy if they didn't figure out the right solution. We poured a brand new slab floor along with WaterGuard perimeter drainage system to control the water coming into the space. A TripleSafe sump pump was installed as well to pump the water away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line. The homeowners now have a dry, usable space and they won't have to worry about having mold issues.
