Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Waterboro, Maine Basement
We recently waterproofed a 100+ year old basement in Waterboro, Maine. The basement had dirt and gravel floors, along with original stone and cinder block foundation walls, which were all allowing for major water intrusion. We poured a new slab floor with WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. A TripleSafe sump pump was tied into the WaterGuard, so any water collected around the perimeter will be pumped away from the home through the TripleSafe. CleanSpace Wall System was installed on the leaking walls to channel water to the WaterGuard, and act as a vapor barrier on the interior of the basement. A SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system now controls the humidity to a healthy level, while also filtering the air for allergens like mold spores. SprayFoam insulation was installed along the rim joists to ensure an air and moisture tight seal. Finally, we installed SmartJacks to provide proper support to the home above as the water damage had compromised some of the wooden beams.
