Every spring they would get water flooding in, and they wanted to keep the space dry and usable. First we poured a new slab floor to prevent water seeping in from the ground. On the walls we installed BrightWall panels which are a vapor barrier product to seal out moisture. BrightWall gives a fresh, clean appearance to the basement, and is easy to wash. BrightWall directs water seepage to the WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard is installed around the entire basement, and connects to their new TripleSafe sump pump to pump water away from the home. The TripleSafe pump system features two Zoeller pumps, and a third battery back up pump that operates when the home loses power. A SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system was installed to control the humidity, preventing moisture.
