Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Wet Basement in Bar Harbor, Maine

Homeowners in Bar Harbor, Maine had a basement that was constantly wet, and over time their first floor began sagging. We gave their basement a complete renovation so it is now properly waterproofed, as well as structurally sound. We poured a new slab floor with WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard connects to their new TripleSafe sump pump to pump water away from the home. We installed CleanSpace Wall System on the walls, which is a vapor barrier that seals out moisture. A SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system now controls the humidity to a healthy level, reducing moisture problems. SmartJacks are zinc-coated so they will not rust, and they are custom fit to lift and level the floors above.
