Crawl Space Encapsulation with Vapor Barrier in York, Maine

Homeowners in York, Maine contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their crawl space. The crawl space was damp with dirt floors, and the owners were also experiencing sagging floors above the crawl space, which is an indicator that moisture is causing the support beams to fail. We encapsulated the crawl space with our two-step process that involves a layer of drainage matting as well as our CleanSpace vapor barrier liner. Spray Foam insulation was installed along the rim joists to seal the encapsulation and provide improved energy efficiency. Not pictured, we installed 6 SmartJacks which are zinc coated steel posts to immediately lift and level the floors above.
