Encapsulating Wet Crawl Space in Boothbay Harbor, Maine

This Boothbay Harbor, Maine crawl space was wet and musty, and the homeowners were ready for a change. We encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace seals out water, keeping the crawl space dry and preventing mold growth. Underneath the CleanSpace liner is a later of drainage matting that helps control the groundwater. Not pictured here, we also installed Spray Foam insulation around the perimeter of the rim joists, creating an air and moisture tight seal.
