Now when water enters the space, it will accumulate within the sump where it will then be removed from the basement through a PVC discharge line. The TripleSafe sump contains three pumps within itself. The two main pumps operate on power from the home while the third pump is a battery-operated backup pump. These three pumps work together to ensure water no longer pools up across this basement floor, even during harsh storms.  Outside the home, an IceGuard pipe segment along with a LawnScape discharge port were attached to the discharge line. The IceGuard will provide an extra layer of protection against flooding by allowing any water blocked by ice or debris to escape the line before flooding back into the basement.
