This homeowner in Mexico, Maine needed a vacation in Mexico after they discovered water coming through the floor of their basement. Wanted to fix the issue, the homeowner reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Sam met with the homeowner and put together a plan to keep their basement dry all of the time and make the space usable. To do this Sam designed a full system that would protect the home for its lifetime. 

Starting with some debris removal, the production team installed Drainage Matting and WaterGuard to channel water to a Triple Safe Sump System that will move it far from the house through a buried Discharge Line where it will no longer be an issue. A couple of SmartJacks were added for additional support and once the new Slab is poured, the homeowner will be able to use their basement for the first time. 

We helped homeowners in Mexico, Maine who had a wall that was collapsing in from the bottom. Hydrostatic pressure had caused the bottom of the foundation wall to blow out, and rocks and dirt were crumbling into the basement. We installed our StableLock Wall repair system to keep the home protected. To complete the repair we pour a new StableLock Wall directly next to the failing wall, preventing it from shifting any further. We do not have to complete any major excavation, keeping it a less costly and disruptive solution. In this case we utilized pouring a footer for the StableLock Wall to keep it secure, protecting the foundation for years to come!
