Proudly serving Maine and Eastern New Hampshire including Portland, Bangor, Portsmouth, NH
I originally called to have the previous repair to two foundation cracks neatened up if possible, but also to have someone look at the work that I had know idea would end up looking like this and if it could be sanded to look more esthetically OK. Obviously I was thinking about a future home sale and how I would explain these two rough black crack repairs. At the same appointment the two sump pumps that tc hafford installed were looked at for a yrly service.
Brian was very nice and answered all of my questions about the crack repairs saying the material dries so fast that it can't be smoothed out. He did try to sand the material a bit and suggested I paint the repair. He also fixed previous work on a wall in the basement that tc hafford had worked on. The sump pumps were in excellent shape and never have been used, water in the basement has not been a problem.
Oops I explained about the service person above ...Brian was excellent.
I suggested that clients be aware of how the repair will look after the work is done.
I really wanted those cracks to look better and I suggested when repairs are first discussed that a clear picture is give as to what it will look like after the repair.
