Old Sump Pump Failing in Westbrook, ME

A Westbrook, ME homeowner contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their basement. They found their sump pump was running constantly and had also become full of debris. In spite of the sump pump running at all times, the basement still had moisture issues. System Design Specialist Stephen C. created a plan to upgrade their pump system. We installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump, which features two Zoeller pumps so there is a back up pump in the event of a pump failure. Both pumps will work together to increase capacity in a heavy water event. The TripleSafe also has a battery back up so it will continue to work in the event of power loss. The TripleSafe removes water from the basement through a buried exterior discharge line. The discharge line is protected against freezing in the winter with IceGuard.
