Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Already having to spend money on mold remediation and with a 20-year water problem, this Exeter, NH, homeowner was ready to take action and fix the issue plaguing their basement. With water coming into their basement, WaterGuard was placed on the perimeter where necessary and connected to a TripleSafe Sump Pump. WaterGuard will catch and channel the water to the TripleSafe, where the water will be pushed out through an Exterior Buried Discharge Line. Water is forced out of the basement, keeping the space dry and preventing mold due to high moisture. IceGuard was installed on the discharge line to prevent ice buildup. During the winter months, the efficiency of the system won’t be affected, keeping the system running at full capacity all year round.

The home is now protected from water intrusion, and the homeowner no longer has to worry about their belongings being damaged by mold or water.

A SuperSump was installed in place of the old sump and connected to a Buried Exterior Discharge line that takes the water far from the home where it won’t cause any problems. IceGuard was installed on the Discharge line to prevent ice from building up during the cold winter months, ensuring that the system will run smoothly year-round. Finally, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed in the basement to keep humidity at a safe level, preventing mold, musty odors, and keeping the space safe for storage. Now this Seabrook, NH home is protected, and the homeowner can use their basement to its fullest potential.

Northwood, NH homeowners reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems for help after recent rains turned into a total disaster. They had water coming in from their bulkhead and were frustrated after a night of mopping up a mess. Our System Design Specialist Rick R. met with the owners to create a plan to keep their basement dry.

The main area of concern was the bulkhead, so we installed CleanSpace Wall System inside the area to act as a vapor barrier where needed and channel any additional moisture from the walls to the WaterGuard. WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the bulkhead and basement, along with TrenchDrain in the doorway to the bulkhead. WaterGuard funnels the water to a SmartSump which then pumps it through the new Exterior Buried Discharge line. The Discharge line takes the water far from the home and with the installation of IceGuard, the entire system is protected against ice buildup in the winter. Our homeowners no longer have to worry about spending their time mopping up a mess!
