After living with a wet basement for some time, this Dover, NH homeowner thought it was time they did something about it. They called us at TC Hafford Basement Systems, and we set them up with a free estimate as soon as possible. After they spoke with our sales representative, they hired us to get started right away! Once our installation crew made it out to the home, they got started by installing a WaterGuard piping system surrounding the basement floor, buried below the concrete. These pipes will capture moisture as it leaks through the pores in the foundation, guiding it to the SuperSump pump also installed in the basement floor. Once in the sump, the water will be pumped out of the home through a PVC discharge line protected by both an IceGuard pipe segment and LawnScape discharge port outside the home. Finally, a CleanSpace liner was utilized to cover the walls of the basement with a waterproof barrier. This will both brighten up the space as well as channel any moisture down into the WaterGuard below for removal.
With a properly waterproofed basement, this homeowner can now make use of their basement without fearing water damage to their property. The CleanSpace liner & WaterGuard piping will keep water from collecting on this basement floor for years into the future!
This Dover, NH, homeowner had an issue: whenever it would rain, a stream would form in their basement that would lead to their old sump pump. Worried about mold and damage, the homeowner booked a free estimate with TC Hafford Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Rick Russell drove out and met with the homeowner to work with them on creating a waterproofing system that would be specific to their home.
WaterGuard Perimeter Drain was installed in the necessary areas of the home where water was coming in and was connected to a SuperSump Sump Pump system. WaterGuard is buried under the slab floor and channels water to a sump pump. WaterGuard features ports that allow for easy cleaning and service if necessary. The SuperSump takes the water and pushes it out of the basement through a Buried Discharge Line that gets the water away from the home where it can’t cause anymore issues. New England can get cold during the winter, so IceGuard was installed on the Discharge line to prevent ice buildup, keeping the waterproofing system working all year-round without troubles. Now the homeowner has a dry basement, and they no longer have to worry about mold damaging their basement, and their family and home will be healthier.
Wanting to cure their humidity and puddle problems in their basement, this Seabrook, NH homeowner called TC Hafford Basement Systems for help. System Design Specialist Rick Russell drove out to meet with the homeowner for a free estimate and worked with them to design a system that would meet their needs and protect the health of their home.
Replacing the old sump pump was a must for the customer to make sure water would be pumped out of the basement before it had a chance to form any puddles. A SuperSump was installed in place of the old sump and connected to a Buried Exterior Discharge line that takes the water far from the home where it won’t cause any problems. IceGuard was installed on the Discharge line to prevent ice from building up during the cold winter months, ensuring that the system will run smoothly year-round. Finally, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed in the basement to keep humidity at a safe level, preventing mold, musty odors, and keeping the space safe for storage. Now this Seabrook, NH home is protected, and the homeowner can use their basement to its fullest potential.
With water gathering in puddles on their basement floor, this Berwick, ME homeowner needed something to keep the water out. After searching online for a solution, they called us at TC Hafford Basement Systems to see if we could solve their problem. After speaking with our sales representative during their sales estimate, we were given the green light to get started on a WaterGuard & SuperSump installation. Once our crew arrived at the home, they got started on the floor by excavating the perimeter. This allowed for the WaterGuard piping to be laid around the basement floor, just below the surface. Sealed below a fresh layer of concrete, the WaterGuard will absorb any water as it leaks in through the foundation in the future. The water enters through small slits along the lower edge of the pipes and is guided directly into the SuperSump pump installed in the floor as well. The SuperSump can handle up to 2,650 gallons of water per hour, pumping it out of the home through a PVC discharge line. Finally, outside the home, IceGuard & LawnScape pipe segments were attached to the discharge line to provide additional protection against flooding. The LawnScape section covers the end with a grate to keep debris from entering the line while the IceGuard allows a way for any water blocked by ice to escape without backing up into the home.
With a permanent waterproofing solution in place, this homeowner no longer needs to suffer from a flooding basement! The WaterGuard piping along with the SuperSump pump will maintain a dry basement floor for this homeowner for years into the future.
When the 55-year-old drain in their basement clogged up and would not function anymore, this Bridgton, ME homeowner called us at TC Hafford Basement Systems. After speaking with our sales representative and reviewing their options during a free estimate, they gave us the green light to begin work on resolving their sump problem. When our installation crew arrived at the home, they began work on the basement by excavating a shallow trench into the perimeter of the basement floor. This allowed enough room for WaterGuard piping to be laid surrounding the basement. Buried beneath a fresh layer of concrete, the WaterGuard pipes within the floor will capture any moisture leaking into the basement through the pores in the concrete in the future. The water is then guided through the piping to the sump where we installed a SuperSump pump. This new pump is capable of removing over 2,600 gallons of water from the home every hour. The water is pumped outside the home through a PVC discharge line where it passes through IceGuard & LawnScape sections before being released onto the lawn. These two additional pipe sections provide protection against blockages in the line and debris that might cause future clogs.
With a revamped waterproofing system in place, this homeowner’s wet basement problem is now a thing of the past. The WaterGuard & SuperSump combination will ensure this basement remains dry for years to come!
