Leaking Portland, Maine Basement is Waterproofed

Portland, Maine homeowners recently reached out to TC Hafford Basement Systems for help waterproofing their basement. Their basement would get wet every time it rained, making it difficult to make full use of the space. We treated their basement with our full waterproofing system, first by installing a new slab floor. WaterGuard drainage system was installed around the perimeter of the basement and connects to their new TripleSafe sump pump. A SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system also discharges into the TripleSafe sump pump, so the owners never have to empty buckets of water from their dehumidifier again. CleanSpace Wall System was added on the basement walls to seal out moisture, and prevent mold growth. Spray Foam insulation was sprayed on the rim joists to create an air tight seal, and provide maximum energy savings.
