The old sump needed to be removed so the hole could be dug out to make room for the new TripleSafe Sump Pump with Battery Backup. Once the TripleSafe is installed, it then gets connected to an Exterior Buried Discharge line that takes the water far away from the home. To ensure the system runs year-round without the risk of ice buildup, IceGuard is installed on the Discharge line to protect the system, keeping the system running at 100%.
