We helped Windham, Maine homeowners to replace their old sump pump that had frozen and failed. We installed a TripleSafe sump pump, our top of the line pump system that has two Zoeller pumps, and an additional battery backup pump. The battery backup ensures the system keeps working even if the home loses power. The TripleSafe can remove over 6,000 gallons of water per hour if needed. The water is pumped away through an exterior buried discharge line that is protected with IceGuard to prevent the system from freezing up.
We recently helped Westbrook, Maine homeowners to replace and upgrade their sump pump system. We installed a TripleSafe sump pump, which has two Zoeller pumps and a third battery backup pump that will operate even if the home loses power. The TripleSafe can handle over 6,000 gallons per hour in high capacity events. We also installed a SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system, which keeps the humidity controlled to a healthy level and also filters the air of allergens like mold spores.
Homeowners in Westbrook, Maine had a basement that was wet all the time. We installed a TripleSafe sump pump to remove water from the basement. The TripleSafe features three pumps, one of which operates from a battery when the power goes out. Water is pumped away from the home through an exterior buried discharge line. We also installed a SaniDry Sedona, the world's most efficient dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona can remove over 100 pints of water per day from the air. In addition to controlling the humidity, it also has a filtration system to remove allergens from the air.
This homeowner has lived at this Scarborough, ME, property for over six years but recently developed a problem that could not go unfixed. When it rains or during snowmelting, their open sump hole would allow water to come in and cover part of their basement floor. Not willing to risk their belongings being damaged or risk mold growth due to the water in their basement, they scheduled a free estimate with TC Hafford Basement System, and System Design Specialist Nicholas Ciciarelli met with them. Together, Nick and the homeowner worked together to design a waterproofing system that would meet the needs of the basement and protect the health of the home. The old sump needed to be removed so the hole could be dug out to make room for the new TripleSafe Sump Pump with Battery Backup. Once the TripleSafe is installed, it then gets connected to an Exterior Buried Discharge line that takes the water far away from the home. To ensure the system runs year-round without the risk of ice buildup, IceGuard is installed on the Discharge line to protect the system, keeping the system running at 100%.
This Falmouth, Maine basement had frequent water seepage at the cove joint, the area where your foundation walls meet the basement floor. We installed a TripleSafe sump pump to handle the incoming water and pump it away from the home. The TripleSafe has two Zoeller cast iron pumps, as well as a third battery backup pump that keeps the system operating if the home loses power. Water is pumped out through an exterior buried discharge line away from the home. We also installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system, that runs along the cove joint to handle incoming water and channel it to the TripleSafe, keeping the basement floors dry.
