We installed StableLock Wall, a poured concrete wall that goes directly over the failing wall to prevent further shifting or bowing. System Design Specialist Mark Smith went out to the home and met with the homeowners to put together a plan that helps them achieve their goals. Each waterproofing system that TC Hafford installs is tailored specifically to the home and the homeowners' goals. During this process, Mark spent time with the homeowners to make sure they knew exactly what would be installed in their home, and Foreman Greg made sure that it was installed with the highest quality possible.

The system Mark built with the homeowners included the CleanSpace Wall System that covers the walls and channels water to WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a perimeter drain that is connected to a TripleSafe Sump Pump System that’s connected to a buried discharge line. From there, the water is pushed far away from the home where it will no longer be a problem.

Now the homeowners can have the finished basement of their dreams without the concern of water ruining their hard work.

Having lived in the home for a little over two years, this Bangor, ME homeowner wanted to address the mess that their sump pump had become over the years. The open pit and leaky pipes were not only inefficient, but also leaky as well. Wanting to take care of the issue, the homeowner called TC Hafford and requested a free estimate. The old sump was removed, and a brand new SuperSump was installed at the lowest point to make sure all water would be channeled efficiently. New piping was run and connected to a Buried Discharge line outside of the home to take water away from where it could ever be a problem. All Discharge lines are equipped with IceGuard to protect against freezing, ensuring that the system stay efficient even during the harsh Maine winters.

The homeowner is now set up for success and can enjoy spending time in their home without being concerned about their basement year-round.

Homeowners in Bangor, Maine wanted to upgrade their attic insulation and get rid of their old, moldy looking fiberglass insulation. We installed Tru-Soft cellulose insulation, which is blown in to fill all of the gaps and tight spaces that fiberglass insulation can't always reach. Tru-Soft cellulose insulation is made of 85% recycled materials, and is also treated to be fire, mold, and insect resistant.
