Foundation Leaking in Home for Sale in North Hampton, NH
A recent basement waterproofing project in North Hampton, NH, demonstrates our team’s commitment to delivering reliable solutions and remarkable service. We were contacted by a real estate agent on behalf of a buyer preparing to purchase a house. The home inspection had discovered water penetrating the basement through a foundation crack, which posed a significant obstacle in the property sale. Our Customer Care Specialist promptly scheduled an inspection with one of our experienced System Design Specialists, who conducted a thorough assessment of the basement. We determined that the combination of a foundation crack and inadequate moisture management was allowing water infiltration, which could potentially lead to mold growth and further structural issues. Based on the findings, we recommended installing our TripleSafe Sump Pump system and the CleanSpace Wall System. The TripleSafe system ensures comprehensive protection against water intrusion, offering redundancy with its two distinct pumps, including a battery backup for power outages. CleanSpace provides an effective barrier, which prevents moisture from entering through the walls, helping maintain a dry environment within the basement. Our skilled production team installed the solutions with precision.  Upon completion, the homeowner’s basement was transformed into a dry, secure space, eliminating the moisture issues and increasing the property’s marketability. Our systems provide long-term peace of mind, ensuring that the basement remains dry and usable regardless of the weather. This job not only met the immediate needs of keeping the home dry but also aligned with our mission to provide WOW service to facilitate the sale of the home.
Wet Basement In Limerick, ME, Properly Waterproofed With WaterGuard
A homeowner in Limerick was having water enter their basement through the floor and walls. This was immediately an issue for the homeowner, because they were using their basement for storage. This problem needed to be resolved, and they called TC Hafford to get the job done! As soon as our crew got to the home, they started work on the basement. First, the perimeter of the basement floor needed to be dug up. This was to make way for our WaterGuard piping system. This system will catch any water entering through the walls or floor before it reaches out towards the center of the basement. Once the WaterGuard system was in place, we installed the SuperSump sump pump. This pump will take the collected water from the piping system and force it up through PVC to the outside. Lastly, we attached an UltraSump backup battery, to ensure the pump continues to pump water even if the home loses electricity. Now this homeowner has a perfectly dry basement to use however they please.
Faulty Sump Pump In North Berwick, ME Replaced With SuperSump
A homeowner in North Berwick was having trouble with their sump pump. Even though they had one installed a few years ago, their basement was starting to gather water again. Their pump was malfunctioning. Seeking a way to remedy this, the homeowner saw TC Hafford Basement Systems on their television and called us right away. We sent out our representative to look at the basement and give the homeowner their free estimate. They selected which options they wanted and we got to work! We began by removing the old sump pump. This was disposed of properly, and left the sump with an open slot for a new pump. We then installed a SuperSump sump pump in the sump. This sump will easily be able to handle any amount of water trying to gather in the basement, being able to pump 2,650 gallons per hour. To maintain a dry basement in any weather, we attached an UltraSump backup battery to the SuperSump. This will keep the pump operating even in such storms that the power in the home goes out. The water leaving the basement exits through a PVC discharge line. On the exterior off the home, we attached an IceGuard pipe to this discharge line. This specially designed pipe will allow water to continue to flow from the line even if the lower end of the pipe becomes blocked by any debris. These systems operating together will maintain a dry basement in any condition. The homeowner no longer needs to worry about a failing sump pump.

WaterGuard Installation Maintains Dry Waterford, ME Basement
A homeowner that lived in Waterford, ME was in the market for some basement waterproofing. Even though they had a concrete foundation around their basement, the space was still taking on water during rainfall. Unable to put an end to this leakage on their own, the homeowner sought a solution online. They soon discovered TC Hafford Basement Systems and called us to set up their free estimate. After they heard their options they gave us the go-ahead to get started waterproofing their basement. When our installation crew got to the home, to prevent future leakages, WaterGuard piping needed to be installed around the basement floor. This installation began with a shallow trench being dug out around the perimeter of the basement floor. Here, the WaterGuard piping was laid and connected to the sump. The pipes were then buried beneath a layer of loose rocks and concrete. Within the floor, the WaterGuard pipes will take in the leaking moisture through small slits along the lower edge of each pipe. Once trapped, the water is guided through the floor to the sump for removal from the basement without ever reaching the surface. Now that this homeowner has proper waterproofing in their basement, they can use the space without needing to worry about water damage. The WaterGuard piping will keep this basement floor dry for years into the future!
Waterford, ME Crawlspace Waterproofed with CleanSpace Installation
Living in Waterford, ME, this homeowner had recently begun to notice a musty smell around parts of their home. Worried about what might be causing this problem, the homeowner checked if they could find any information online. They soon discovered TC Hafford Basement Systems and called us to receive their free estimate on solutions for the issue. After speaking with our sales representative, the homeowner gave us the green light to get started on eliminating the moisture problem in the crawlspace below the home. As soon as our installation crew arrived at the home, they began work on the crawlspace right away. With moisture leaking in through the ground and building up in the space, a barrier was needed to keep the water at bay. First, a Drainage Matting was laid across the crawlspace floor. This mat has many holes throughout it, and it rests just above the surface of the floor using grooves along the bottom. This allows for any water trapped between the vapor barrier layers to flow down and out of the space following the channels created by the grooves. Finally, a CleanSpace liner was used to encapsulate the walls and floor of the space. This completely seals out any moisture that would have previously leaked into the interior of the crawlspace. With their new barrier in place below their home, this homeowner should soon notice the musty smell dissipate. The CleanSpace liner will keep the space below this home dry for years into the future!
