First, an IceGuard pipe segment was attached just beyond where the discharge line leaves the home. This piece has upward facing holes built into the sides. These holes will allow any water blocked by ice or debris in the line to escape without backing up and flooding the basement. Finally, a LawnScape discharge port was attached to the end of the line. This piece is covered on one end by a grate that will prevent most debris from entering the discharge line while allowing the water flowing from the home to exit normally. These newly installed waterproofing products will now maintain a dry, healthy basement for this homeowner to utilize however they see fit. The WaterGuard piping will prevent water from collecting on the floors surface for years to come!
