This is the first step of FlexiSpan, and acts as a primary barrier against water coming in through the crack. We then laid a foam pad over the top of the crack. This helps the structure of FlexiSpan, allowing it to be flexible, should the crack shift at all. Finally, the foam is covered with a second layer of sealant. This seals the entire piece in place, locking out moisture permanently.

A homeowner that lived in Searsmont, ME had been having some problems with moisture leaking into their basement. Unsure how to prevent these leakages on their own, the homeowner needed assistance.
