Keeping Rockport, ME Basement Dry
A homeowner in Rockport, ME recently approached us with a persistent problem—water was seeping into their basement, threatening the safety and usability of their home. Concerned about the impact of moisture on their belongings and eager to reclaim their basement as a usable space, they reached out to us. Upon scheduling a consultation with our Customer Care Specialist, we arranged for a System Design Specialist from our Sales Team to visit the homeowner’s property. After conducting a comprehensive inspection, our specialist identified the points of water infiltration and formulated a tailored solution designed to ensure long-term water control and basement protection. Our production team then set to work installing the tried-and-true combination of our TripleSafe Sump Pump system, WaterGuard drainage, and CleanSpace Walls. The TripleSafe Sump Pump ensured that even in the heaviest downpour, the basement would remain dry with its two-pump assurance and battery backup, safeguarding against pump failure or power outages. By installing WaterGuard, we effectively captured wall and floor seepage, directing it seamlessly to the sump pump and circumventing any clogging issues typical of traditional French drains. To complete the waterproofing strategy, we layered the basement space with our durable CleanSpace Walls vapor barrier. This robust liner impeded excess moisture migration and mildew growth, enhancing the environment and reducing potential structural damage. The outcome was a basement fully shielded from moisture entry. Our solutions not only addressed immediate concerns but provided the homeowner peace of mind and the ability to utilize their basement worry-free.
