Finally, a LawnScape cap piece was used to end the line. This piece has a grate over the end so that the water can flow onto the lawn while outside debris is kept from entering the pipe. Now that they have a proper sump system in place, this homeowner will no longer need to worry about finding a flooded basement during heavy rainfall. To finish the encapsulation system, the old and rotting crawl space entrance cover was replaced with a new EverLast Access Panel that keeps air and moisture from coming into the crawl space.
